Louise joined Sheppersons in September 2007 to build up the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. She became a partner in 2010.

She practises in all areas of civil and commercial litigation including business disputes, building disputes, residential and commercial landlord & tenant issues, insolvency, contentious and non-contentious employment including settlement agreements, neighbour disputes and debt recovery. She also deals with contentious probate matters including Inheritance Act claims and challenges to wills.

As well as having substantial experience of resolving disputes through the courts, Louise is experienced in using Alternative Dispute Resolution, including mediation, to resolve disputes at an early stage.

Louise qualified as a solicitor in 1995 with commercial practice Rollits based in Hull, and subsequently worked in London and Surrey before joining Sheppersons.


Louise regularly volunteers for Surrey Law Centre as one of their rota solicitors to provide free advice on litigation and employment disputes. Louise was previously a trustee and chair of Home-Start East Surrey.

Louise is married with three children and in her spare time enjoys pilates, tap dancing, an enthusiastic book group, theatre and travel.
